A clock on top of frosted glass, for your Mac's screensaver.
Fold Clock turns your Mac's screensaver into a quiet, beautiful clock. Dark frosted glass slides down over your own wallpaper, the time comes into focus through it, and the background keeps moving softly behind the glass. Four clock styles, six typefaces, and settings for multiple displays, all inside System Settings.
When your Mac goes idle, your wallpaper stays. Then a sheet of dark frosted glass slides down from the top of the screen, softening everything behind it, and the time comes into focus through the glass. It's a small moment of motion that makes stepping away from your desk feel deliberate.
Choose the clock that fits your desk. Lock Screen sets the time large and centered, the way you're used to seeing it on your phone. Analog is a clean dial with a sweeping orange second hand. Flip brings back the split-flap cards, bold and easy to read across a room. Words tells you it's twenty past nine.
Then pick the type. Six typefaces, from a hairline Ultralight to SF Rounded, New York and SF Mono, in 12 or 24-hour time, with or without the date.
The background doesn't just sit there. Drift slowly pans and zooms your wallpaper behind the glass. Glow keeps it still while soft areas of light and shade wander across it. Set either one from subtle to strong, or turn motion off. Prefer no wallpaper at all? Switch to pure black, the lightest option on power.
Running more than one display? The glass covers every screen, and the clock stays on your main display, or shows on all of them if you'd like.
Fold Clock is a real macOS screensaver, not an app running on top of your desktop. It installs with a double-click, lives in System Settings next to Apple's own screensavers, and doesn't keep your Mac awake or stop it from sleeping. No account, no subscription, and nothing leaves your Mac.
